I saw this a few months ago, and was astounded by it, and tried to keep it a secret because I was determined to stage something like this with Festival Dance students.... But now it has been seen by millions of people on YouTube, so I thought I'd better let you know about it - if you don't already. This group "join in" performance is brilliant! What FUN!
In Antwerp, Belgium at the Central Railway Station, on a Monday morning, with no warning to the passengers passing through the station, a recording of Julie Andrews came over the public address system. As the bemused passengers watch in amazement . . . .
(Don't assume it is unrehearsed. It took 200 dancers and 4 weeks of preparation, but the effect is for you to decide)

Summer Workshops Available!

Summer is finally here! As we all decide how we are going to squeeze all the fun summer activities into our schedule - don't forget about our many workshops! The dancers that participate in our workshops learn creativity, musicality, social skills, confidence, technical dance skills, and more. Why not supplement your child's existing daycare arrangements with some dance workshops, which are an economical way to add some variety to your child's day while you are at work. We have the ever popular Princess Ballet Workshop (it's next week!), Mommy & Me, Hip Hop, Jazz, Ballet sessions, Celtic Dance, Acting, Lyrical, Choreography and lots of varying times and dates from which to choose. Questions? Call me at 883-3267 and I'd be happy to help you find the perfect workshops for your child!

Incredible Performance of Swan Lake
This is a breathtaking video of the Great Chinese State Circus dancing "Swan Lake" sent to me by my friend Joann Evans.
It's the chills that run up my spine when I see talent and beauty such as this performance that keep me in love with dance and the arts! Such skill! I'm in awe. This is one of the most amazing things I have ever seen...

Swan Lake A Huge Success!
Swan Lake was absolutely gorgeous and the dancers awed the audience!
Jerry McCollum said, "My first ballet brought tears to my eyes – the sets, staging and costuming were magical. The dancers were uniformly excellent, with the prima ballerina being wonderfully graceful and strong. I was entranced with the entire production. It was like watching flowers bloom in front of me to the music of Tchaikovsky.
What a great introduction to the world of ballet! Many thanks!"
Jerry says it well. What more can I add?
I love this job!
